Plush toys, saving crazy young people
According to a friend's account, whenever she was about to be overwhelmed by emotional problems such as anxiety and depression, she would hold her doll and shrink to a corner of the sofa, doing nothing and emptying herself. Miraculously, by doing so, she seemed to have caught half of the logging in the turbulence, and a strong sense of security supported her through difficult times. When she regained consciousness and touched the soft doll, the gloom in her heart was swept away.
A survey conducted many years ago showed that 43% of adults have a special plush toy friend, and many people still keep their childhood plush toys and need to hold them at night to fall asleep. Cute designs, cute expressions, and soft textures are undoubtedly the reasons why dolls are popular. But for adults, the loneliness and stress they experience in the real world can be alleviated through a doll, which is the most cost-effective self-healing method. A research report published in the American journal Psychological Science in 2013 confirmed the miraculous effect of dolls: simply holding a teddy bear can significantly reduce the survival fear of people with low self-esteem.
